I love these birds, they have such a long, sleek body and such a huge underbite. Large groups of them congregate along the edge of the shore and "bark" back and forth to one another. They all face one way, then they all face the other way. Then, for no discernible reason, they all take off in a mass of wings. I could watch them all day.
