It's a sad day when my trusty Camry needs to be towed to the garage. It has been running rough lately, stalling on occasion. Today it threatened to stall when I was entering the rotary and although it started when I was finished at the gym, it stalled the first time. I had to drive home with one foot on the accelerator in order to keep the rpm's up and one foot on the brakes. Kind of gave me butterflies in the pit of my stomach.
Bill was kind enough to check it out but reported that it wasn't anything he could fix (darn it) and it should be towed to the garage because he didn't think it was safe to drive (darn it again).
That's what AAA is for! Although the garage can't work on it until Wednesday, there's no point in having it sit here; 45 minutes after my call, it was on a flatbed headed North. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that A) I have it back by Thursday because I'm planning to visit Su at the campground and B) it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to get it running!
Thanks in advance to Bill for driving me to Lori's tomorrow; I can't want to miss the Comet party.
Thanks for stopping by...
;o)
