The Martineau's Come to Visit...Day 3

3/15/19...
We had breakfast, Bill took Titan for a walk while the rest of us got ready for the day.  We left around 10:30 and headed to the botanical gardens in Naples.

We stopped at Celebration Park for lunch at the food trucks - lots of choices.  We sat and ate at the end of the park overlooking the canal and the floating Tiki bar boat.
We got to the gardens at 12:30 and spent a couple of hours.  It started to rain just as we got to the orchid section, my favorite part, at the end.  Perfect timing.
Lots of good pictures today.  The first one Wendy tagged as "the Christmas card photo".
This is an awesome mosaic wall in the Brazilian garden section.

"Longfellow Gravity"
They pointed out this sign and said it would be a good saying for me but everyone that knows me, knows I don't have a Plan B.  It's Plan A or nothing.
"Blue Calla Flare"
This tall glass sculpture was located in the Succulent Garden, as were the following plants.
Look at these teeny, tiny blossoms
They checked out the labyrinth...
They took this nice picture of us in the Asian Garden.
We left around 2:30, stopped at Starbucks, Publix and the liquor store on the way home.

After dinner we went to The Celtic Ray to see a band Bill wanted to see.  Turned out they were the second band behind Born Again Heathens, who played from 7 - 9 and then another guy had the stage for 45 more minutes.  The Peelers, the band Bill wanted to see (or hear ;o) didn't even start playing until 11:00!  We listened for 15 minutes and headed home.  I felt bad for Bill, he doesn't really ask for much and the one thing he wanted to do was kind of a bust.  We'll have to look for them next year.

Thanks for stopping by...
;o)
