I feel comfortable reporting that these are White Ibis, or is it Ibises? ;o) If anyone reading this knows differently, feel free to correct me (in a nice way, please).
My uncle (God rest his soul) was the TRUE birder in our family. He was so thrilled when I took an interest in it and put up feeders in my yard.
Well, I called him a day or two later, to report to him that I had birds there! I was so excited and kinda proud of myself. He asked me, "What kind of birds are there, Lori?" ... to which I replied ... "brown ones". He just sighed.
Anyways, I'm pleased to report that my feeders have subsequently drawn a variety of species to it to feed. Not only those brown ones ... but yellow ones, black ones, red ones, etc. :)
I hope someone comes along and can answer your question.
Much love to all of you,
Lori
ps I can say, with a pretty high level of confidence that they are ..... white ones. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
